     ​Adam K. Allen is an actor, director, and writer. He was born in New Palestine, Indiana, to Kevin Allen, a software project manager, and Lana Allen, a mental health therapist. He has one younger sister, Alyssa. He had a very active imagination throughout childhood, often writing short stories in his free time. He frequently sang and took part in church productions, and began regularly performing in community theatre at the age of 12, though he did not consider a career in the arts until high school.


He graduated from Morristown Jr-Sr High School in 2012, where he was an active member of the drama club, concert band, pep band, jazz band, and the Pride of Morristown Marching Band. While in high school, Adam started making small home movies, and eventually began making promotional videos for the marching band, local bands, and sports teams.

In 2016, Adam graduated Magna Cum Laude from Ball State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, having triple-majored in Telecommunications, Theatre, and French. He was very active in college, appearing in several student films, as well as a number of community and university productions. He was also an active member of the Alpha Psi Omega theatre honorary. Adam was a competitive member of Cardinal Ballroom, the Ball State ballroom dance club on campus. He served as a board member for three years. Upon graduating from Ball State, he accepted a position to help teach English in France for a year, working at Lycee Ambroise-Pare in Laval, France.

Adam has worked for FOX Sports and the IHSAA Network, acted as a Unit Production Manager on an award winning regional commercial, and directed several films, both domestically and internationally. Adam has also performed with multiple theatre companies and appeared in several independent films. He is now CEO of his own Indianapolis-based production company, Fierce Little Bird Productionswhich he launched after his return to the States in 2017. As of 2020, he lives in the Indianapolis area, where he continues to actively perform in film and theatre productions, and produce commercial video projects and narrative films.
